Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA; studied abroad in Bordeaux, France; graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma; earned a graduate certificate from George Washington University’s Graduate School of Political Management in Washington, DC, USA; currently pursuing a M.A. in Political Strategy and Communication at the University of Kent’s Brussels School of International Studies in Brussels, Belgium and working part-time for a British Member of the European Parliament; other professional experiences include stints at the American Council of Young Political Leaders, at Sparber & Associates, at Qorvis Communications and at the U.S. State Department’s Advisory Commission on Public Diplomacy; passionate about expanding my horizons and increasing international understanding; equal parts American country music and French rock; a pragmatic Democrat; a lover of foreign languages, especially French; a fan of OU Sooner football and an aspiring fan of what most of the world calls “football,” a.k.a. “soccer.”
